"Never Far Away"

Just as we're getting used to our way around the new blog, the folks at Time Life have begun inundating us with projects to discuss.  Some are too secret to let out to the general public. You know what they say about loose lips?  Just trust us on this one.

Over the course of the next few days and weeks, we'll be showcasing new projects and forthcoming releases - each one just as exciting as the next.

Right now, to keep a thread continuing on one of our most talked about projects, I'd like to give you a little bit of a sneak peak into the world of Jim Brickman.  As his most ardent fans know, Jim is the king of collaboration.  And with four brand new ones on his forthcoming greatest hits album, "Ultimate Love Songs - The Very Best Of Jim Brickman", it was always going to be tough to decide on which track should lead the collection.

The honor falls upon "Never Far Away", Jim's incredible collaboration with today's hottest Christian Progressive Worship band, Rush Of Fools.  The band, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, has lit the Contemporary Christian charts afire over the last two years.  Now, in conjunction with Jim's trademark piano stylings, Rush Of Fools deliver the first single from "Ultimate Love Songs - The Very Best Of Jim Brickman".

Recently, we caught up with Jim and he gave us some insight into this breathtaking collaboration.

"Ultimate Love Songs - The Very Best Of Jim Brickman" hits stores on January 27.   Catch Jim on tour through June.  For a list of concert performances, please head over to jimbrickman.com for more info.
