On July 27, Marc Cohn returns with "Listening Booth: 1970", his tribute to one of the finest years when singer-songwriters filled the singles charts.
Marc covered songs from a wide range of artists who had hits in 1970. Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Bread, Smokey Robinson and Paul Simon are just some of the artists represented on this unique collection of covers.
Although Marc is a singer-songwriter usually associated with his own work, he decided to take on many of the songs that shaped and influenced him as an artist and a writer.
Nearly 20 years after he first tasted success with his #13 hit, "Walking In Memphis", Marc Cohn continues to deepen the connection with his audience on this new musical journey.
The tracklisting for "Listening Booth: 1970" is as follows:
1. Wild World
2. Look At Me
3. Maybe I'm Amazed
4. Make It With You
5. The Letter
6. The Only Living Boy In New York
7. After Midnight
8. The Tears Of Clown
9. No Matter What
10. New Speedway Boogie
11. Into The Mystic
