This weekend, Time Life will launch the infomercial for "Country's Got Heart", a 10 CD set of the most heartfelt, country songs from the 70s and 80s. Actor and musician John Schneider, best known for playing the character of Bo Duke in TV's "The Dukes Of Hazzard", hosts the show.
John was kind enough to sit down and give us a little of his time during the taping of the infomercial. Listen as he talks about music, acting, his career and influences.

starships, stones and maniacs
Grace Slick has had an extraordinary career. This week she celebrates her 71st birthday!
First, she started as a member of Jefferson Airplane.
Then she became a member of Jefferson Starship.
And then, in the 80s, she transitioned into Starship.
Natalie Merchant, ex-vocalist with 10,000 Maniacs, is 47.
Grandaddy of rock royalty and former member of the Rolling Stones, Bill Wyman, will be 74 years old. During some time off from the Stones, Mr. Wyman recorded a few quirky solo albums. One of his biggest solo hits in the 80s was "Je Suis Un Rockstar".

At Time Life, everybody has been gearing up for the holiday season. Lots of new projects are about to be announced. Of course, "The Six Million Dollar Man: The Complete Collection" is already shaping up to be the highlight of all the DVD releases this year. Stay tuned as we bring you more info about it.

Weird Al Yankovic,has made a career of making comedy spoofs of popular hits. The laughter hasn't stopped even as he turns 51.
Manfred Mann hits a milestone this year. He turn 70 this week. He is responsible for two giant, classic hits. Both were very different.
First came "Doo Wah Diddy" in 1964.
Twelve years later, he re-emerged as the leader of Manfred Mann's Earth Band and had a huge hit with "Blinded By The Light" which was written by Bruce Springsteen.
Tom Petty burst on to the music scene more than 30 years ago with his band, The Heartbreakers. This year, Tom turns 60 with a lot to celebrate. Here's one of his very first hits, "Refugee".
With 50 years of rock n' roll history under his belt, guitar legend, Chuck Berry celebrates his 84th birthday.

Jackson Browne, who's career spans nearly 40 years, turns 62.
America's heartland heart throb, John Mellencamp, will be 59.
Time keeps on slipping into the future for singer songwriter Steve Miller who celebrates 67 years on planet Earth.
And guitar great Chubby Checker will spend is 69th birthday twisting the night away. In fact, Chubby is a good friend of ours and you will be able to catch him twisting by the pool at next year's Malt Shop Memories Cruise.
